LOVIE AGUILAR

Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW)

Hola! I’m Lovie—like “lovey-dovey”

I’m an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) and have proudly called the High Desert home since 2006 after moving from Los Angeles County.

My journey into therapy has been anything but traditional! I started at Victor Valley College exploring courses without a clear plan, then pursued a path toward teaching (I still hold a substitute teaching permit!). Life had other plans, though, and I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of La Verne—all while driving a school bus, supporting students of all ages, including those with special needs. Those experiences taught me patience, empathy, and the value of meeting people exactly where they are—skills I carry into every session.

Fluent in English and Spanish, I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

Let’s talk. ¡ Platicamos!
